All household pets over 8 months of age must be
altered, and they may not be declawed.

SALES CAGES:
Available only to exhibitors of pedigreed
cats. All kittens must be at least 4 months old and have litter registration
as proof. No kittens to be sold under $100. Positively no kittens allowed
under tables.
CHECK IN:
Exhibitors may check in between 8:00 AM
and 9:15 AM on Saturday.
SHOW HOURS:
Advertised show hours will be 10:00 AM to
5:00 PM on Saturday; Sunday show hours: 9:00 AM to the end of Finals (~3:30
- 4:00 PM). Judging will start at 10:00 AM Saturday and 9:00 AM Sunday. All
entries are expected to remain in the show hall until the advertised closing
time. Early removal without permission of the show manager(s) will result in
all wins being voided. Kittens and HHPs are exempt from this rule.
CFA SHOW RULES:
This is a CFA licensed show and CFA show
rules will be strictly enforced.
Show rules may be
obtained by sending $5.00 to: CFA, 1805 Atlantic Ave, PO Box 1005,
Manasquan,
NJ 08736-0805.
This is a non-vetted
show. All entries should be vaccinated by a licensed veterinarian against
feline enteritis, feline rhinotracheitis, calici virus and rabies, and be
tested for feline leukemia before entry. Cats must be free of fleas, ear
mites, fungus, and any contagious illness. All claws must be clipped.
Declawed cats are not eligible for entry including HHP). No kittens under
the age of 4 months will be permitted in the show hall.
ENTRIES:
All fees must accompany the entries. Please
print legibly or type all entry blanks and forms. Benching requests will be
honored whenever possible. No entry fee will be refunded for failure to
bench. Maps will be sent with confirmations. Mo-Kan Cat Club, Inc. will not
be liable for any loss or damage.
Vending from cages
or grooming spaces is not allowed. No extra charge for e-mailed or faxed
entries, however,
a follow up call or
e-mail is recommended to ensure your entry was received.
ADVERTISING &
CATALOG ADS:
Rates for catalog
advertising are: full page $35 ($20 to clubs for
show ads), half page $20, quarter page $10,
business cards $5.
RIBBONS & AWARDS:
Ribbons and rosettes will be awarded
according to CFA rules; permanent flats
will be used for all except BOB, 2BOB, and BCH/BPR.
Fabric ribbons will be available. All championship,
premiership, and registered kittens will be
scored for CFA Regional and National awards.
Non-scoring
Mainecoon
breed awards for #1-5 in kitten, championship and premiership.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Litter will be provided. Bring your
own litter pans, cat food and water dishes.
A single cage is
provided with each entry. Single cage size is 22 x 22 x 22; double cage size
is 22 x 22 x 45.
Bring cage curtains
or towels to hang on the inside, top and bottom of cage.
Reasonable care will
be taken of all cats and personal property, however, neither the Mo-Kan Cat
Club nor
the Overland Park
Convention Center will be liable for items lost, damaged or stolen. People
food is
available for sale
at the Overland Park Convention Center concession area.

HOUSEHOLD PETS:
Must be over 4 months old, spayed or
neutered if 8 months or older and must
not be declawed or otherwise surgically altered.
Household pets are defined as any domestic cat not
otherwise eligible for championship competition.
